Rescue? What I read was that Boko Haram released them. I wanted to even ask the kind of deal that was entered, now I′m seeing this. Please, we should ensure to avoid misinformation.

Will strike action end the insecurity? It won′t. The government needs the collective support of everyone in this fight.

This is good to know. We shouldn′t leave everything to the central government. Security must be a collective work, starting from the local government level, to the state and to the federal level.

This system used by terrorists is being deployed in Oyo; these ones we′re calling bandits aren′t all bandits. Many are jihadists. You can see the Woro massacre in Kwara state, where the attacks are clearly by jihadists, and this attack is looking like another Islamist attack, too.

I must commend the security operatives for the audacious effort in rescuing these ones. I wouldn′t join the voice of unpatriotic Nigerian that will still criticise the police and will try to find a reason to say that their case is different because it′s the elite class. Some even shamelessly said the kidnapping was arranged so that the police would rescue them and divert attention. How can we be so negative about Nigeria? That′s highly unpatriotic. When our security operatives do well, let′s commend them, and if they′re not, we should criticise them. In this case, they did well.

We wouldn′t bow to terrorists and bandits; this will be unacceptable. The government should pass a law that anyone found in the act should be shot on the spot. Please, no arrest should be made; please kill them on sight.
