Whenever I read about this xenophobic attack, I got angry not because the victims are Nigerian or Ghanaian but rather because the perpetrators are once victims of apartheid and now they′re doing the same evil done to them by whites to their fellow black men.

This is sad news coming from Mali, the country is drifting back to where it was during 2013 before French intervention. Sending the French troops away created a vacuum that this Al-qaeda affiliate is attempting to fill to topple the government. Russia isn′t experiencing anti-terrorism like France, their mercenaries just laid down their weapons and are negotiating with this terrorist group. But our collective fear isn′t about Mali alone, but the fact that Mali falling into the wrong hands could be a big security issue for the entire region and this is where Nigeria belongs.
