The recognition is rewarding Hamas, the Palestinian authority led by Abas can′t control Gaza or West Bank. Hamas will quickly take over, just look at Afghanistan as example, after 20 year of US presence, immediately US withdrawal Taliban took over and went back to their oppressive regime, this was what happened after Israel handed Gaza over after the war and look at what happened. Hamas quickly gained contour, built hundreds of thousands of tunnels and on October 7th 2023, the monstrous Hamas invaded Israel, killed ad many as they could, rape women, murdered and burn people alive both children and took hundreds captive. After all these you want Israel to seat back and watch Hamas take over and do the same thing again! Israel has learnt its lessons. If those calling for 2 state solution can′t pressure Hamas to release all hostages for the war to end, then calling for Israel to stop the war, while Hamas still exists and hostages are still in their dungeon is aberration. It will never happen.

DR Congo isn′t taking adequate measures to stop the widespread of this disease. My concern is particularly on it getting across borders to other countries especially Nigeria with a porous border and a government that is not committed in anything it does.
