The UN Security Council isn't living up to its responsibility of maintaining global peace. The reason is simple "veto power" the veto power by the global power heavyweight wouldn't allow the Security Council to do what's necessary. However, I align with Saudi Arabia that they're should be restraint. But in the event where it's impossible to restraint then, let the middle East burn then, the powerful wins, simple!

I would like to align with Saudi Arabia I calling for restraint. The attack was indiscriminate and unprecedented which is condemable however, since only 1% of the over 300 missiles was sucessful. Let the issue not be escalated cause the middle East and the entire globe will feel the impact. Israel should restraint but No! I know they wouldn't.

With a reserved respect to Mr. Bolaji in his experience as former foreign minister. However, I choose to differ , to the extent that it's Iran that is provoking Isreal to war. The Al-aqsa flood of October 7 was masterminded with the help of Iran, Hesbollah is being sponsored by Iran, the Houthi is sponsored by Iran and many other militant groups that are fighting against the existence of Isreal and you want Israel to fold arm without attacking a perceived enemy who is hiding in Syria, infact who was part of the brain behind an attack that claimed nothing less than a thousand Israeli lives. It doesn't happen that way. Isreal have every right to defending themselves including destroying enemies target against them.

The War That Never Happened

The War That Never Happened
In a world plagued by the specter of conflict, a war was on the brink of eruption. Tensions ran high between two neighboring nations, Eldoria and Veridia. For years, their leaders had engaged in bitter disputes, stoking the fires of animosity and preparing their armies for an inevitable clash.

Generals on both sides strategized, soldiers trained tirelessly, and civilians lived in constant fear of an impending catastrophe. The drums of war reverberated throughout the land, drowning out the voices of reason and compassion.

But amidst the cacophony of war drums, there were whispers of dissent, murmurs of peace, and a growing movement of individuals who believed that violence and bloodshed were not the answers to their problems. They yearned for a world where swords could be turned into plowshares and conflicts resolved through dialogue.

Unbeknownst to the political elite, deep within the heart of Eldoria, a humble historian named Lucas had been meticulously studying the history of the two nations. He spent countless hours poring over dusty tomes and forgotten manuscripts, searching for a glimmer of hope, a path that would lead his people away from the precipice of destruction.

One fateful day, hidden within a forgotten archive, Lucas discovered a long-lost document—an ancient treaty signed by the forefathers of Eldoria and Veridia. This document detailed an alliance forged in times of great peril, a commitment to peace and cooperation that had been buried beneath the ashes of history.

With newfound determination, Lucas embarked on a journey to the capital city, carrying the weight of a nation's future on his shoulders. He sought an audience with the leaders, armed not with weapons, but with the power of knowledge and the strength of conviction.

As Lucas stood before the assembled politicians, generals, and diplomats, he presented the ancient treaty, recounting its words with a voice filled with passion and hope. He spoke of the countless lives that would be lost, the devastation that would be wrought upon their lands, and the generations yet unborn who would suffer the consequences.

His words resonated with the weary hearts of those gathered in the hall. The leaders, once consumed by their thirst for power, began to see the folly of their ways. They realized that the true strength of a nation lay not in its military might, but in the unity of its people and the shared pursuit of peace.

And so, in a moment that would forever alter the course of history, the leaders of Eldoria and Veridia put aside their differences. They signed a new treaty of cooperation, vowing to resolve their disputes through peaceful negotiations and to work together for the betterment of their people.

The drums of war were silenced, replaced by the symphony of diplomacy and understanding. Soldiers laid down their arms, returning to their families. Villages and towns, once divided by fear and hatred, began to forge new bonds of friendship and trust.

In the years that followed, Eldoria and Veridia flourished. Their economies thrived, and their people enjoyed the fruits of peace. The war that had once seemed inevitable became nothing more than a distant memory, a cautionary tale of the past.

And Lucas, the humble historian, became a symbol of hope—a reminder that even in the darkest times, the power of knowledge, compassion, and the human spirit could prevail, giving birth to a world where wars were merely stories of the past—a world shaped by the war that never happened.
