The Ghost Is Here

The Ghost Is Here
Growing up as a child, I was often entertained with all sorts of stories, which are both scary, instructive and fun to listen to. It's important I emphasize that I dislike the scary ones as it discomforts me at night. Little do I know that sometimes what we fear the most have a way of coming to us.

The foregoing was just a flash back, but fast forward to my current story. Today made it a month that I saw what is beyond my imagination. I've been hearing stories of Ghosts but I haven't seen one and I never wished to see one. But all that changed just a month ago.

I had just came back from my place of work and it was late in the night. As usual, I'd go to my backyard and fetch some water from the water tank and use same for my bath, at the backyard was a grave of a relative of mine who has died some years back. On this faithful night, I went there and fetched the water and upon carrying the bucket to the bathroom which is outside the main building I noticed a figure seated some distance from the grave. I couldn't tell the gender but then I greeted the figure but no response. I didn't bother but I was wondering who that could be so I went on and took my bath.

After I got to the main building I told my elder sister to check backyard if she will see someone and if she would identify who is the one seated in our backyard. She did and came back with same response that she couldn’t go much closer as the figure was not answering greetings and is motionless. I had to summon courage, pick my phone and on the touch light to see who the Hell is the person scaring us. With me is a long stick in case the person fights me.

On approaching, I kept shouting "who u be, u no go talk?," and while I was trying to shine my phone touch light I noticed that there was nothing there, the figure has apparently disappeared or probably I was hallucinating, but would my sister also be hallucinating? I shouted like never before, I couldn't remember where I flinged the stick to, I only managed to hold the phone and I ran and I refused to sleep in my house that night. I know what I saw and I'm sure it's not hallucination. THE GHOST IS HERE!

This is embarrassing. To those that voted APC all because of their sentiment, prosperity will not be kind to you all, including those that helped to rig the election to usher in this government. We've never had it this bad.
