This failure is due to a long-term institutional problem. The NFF has been embroiled in scandals, and as usual, we allowed corruption to creep into our football, too. We need an entire overhaul of the NFF and for our coach, the current manager he should be allowed to stay let′s see more of his performance.

We thought things would be much different under Ribadu as NSA given his wealth of experience but I′m sorry to say that I′m not highly impressed with the state of security in the country. Happy Birthday sir, but we need more!

I wish him a fruitful deliberation while he′s out there representing the GCFR. I′d love to commend the president′s kind decision to show respect and empathy for the families of these affected children by refusing to leave the country.

This is sad, our security lacks intelligence and the citizens aren′t helping matters. So nobody noticed their presence for that long until they committed the mayhem and escaped safely. Like I′ve always said, we need more manpower in the military.

This is commendable but a shameful decision. But like I said it′s a good shameful decision. It′s good in the sense that the security of these students is considered given given the spate of kidnappings getting on it. Also shameful that we′ve gotten to a stage where none state actors decide how our schools should be run.

Probing that would end without us getting a satisfying answer. We′ve said this, there is complicity among elites and those in the military. The free rein of terrorism in Northern Nigeria is appalling. Those in the south shouldn′t feel safe, it′s going around.

Nnamdi Kanu is guilty of terrorism as declared by the court, I agree with the presiding judge, but what I don′t agree with is that the judgment and the entire trial don′t conform to the doctrine of fair hearing.

Second, Nnamdi Kanu failed to learn from history. History is there to teach us. After the shameful defeat of Biafra in the Civil War, Kanu should know that if he must stand against the government which wouldn′t allow Biafra to go he must be rugged. Meet the Fulani Bandits, they are rugged. You can′t be timid and a wordy person and say you′re a saviour. How many Bandits do you see talk cho-cho-cho yet you see their workings, they′re conveniently terrorising Nigeria. There are real terrorists.
