We mustn′t put off the fact that the protesters went rogue and were destroying properties, particularly those belonging to a particular tribe. Yes, they have the right to protest about the insecurity, and they can express their grievance in doing so, but destroying property and endangering others′ lives is unlawful, too. We must call a spade a spade. Also, the government of Edo must act to stop these incessant kidnappings and killings in the state. Additionally, these protesters should be subjected to community service alone and be released.
